Paid Services:

- Transfers outside the city (fare according to distance)
- Local transfers (other than an emergency)
- Air ambulance transfers (fare according to distance)
Our courses, taught by qualified and certified personnel:
- First aid
- Basic vital support
- Use of fire extinguishers
- Property evacuation
- Airway prevention and obstruction
- Management and control of hemorrhages
- Emergency care and pre-hospital service
- Assistance services
- Donating shoes, clothes, winter clothes, blankets, pantries, school supplies, and toys to the most vulnerable population of our city and communities
- Help with food prepared for nursing homes, hospitals, families, elderly and children.
- Support visits to people who have lost their homes due to catastrophes
Our Departments
Fundraising
An “army” of women-led volunteers, directed by our president, Leticia Fernández, work to provide social services and events to fundraise for daily operation, infrastructure and equipment costs. Most of our funding comes from donations but also from festivals, events and our annual Gala Dinner.
Emergency Response
When people are affected by a serious incident or an emergency, our volunteers and staff and a specially adapted ambulances respond around the clock and provide prehospital services. As well as the practical assistance we can provide, our volunteers are trained to provide emotional support, letting the emergency services get on with the job. Paramedic Manuel del Ángel
Training
Our personal at the San Miguel Red Cross offers to the general public the training and educational programs to help save lives and empower people to respond to disasters and other life-threatening emergencies through developing and implementing lifesaving training and education programs and materials. Communication and Image
The liaison with the members of the press. This department has as a mission of strengthening the image of the institution with the society, as well as supporting the different campaigns to attract people to our movement. Jesús Aguado
Assitencial Vountary Women
Provide food, comfort, appliances, and furniture—among many other products donated to us by sponsors—for families affected by major disasters such as fire, weather, or other events. Alma Lidia Bautista
Medical Services
Provide advanced medical care in necessary emergencies. This area provides all the necessary updates to our paramedics to give a better service to the community.
Psychology
Our personal attending emergencies receives frequent advise from this area. The services are open to the public.
Delegation Control
This area supervises each coordination of our Red Cross to make sure that they follow the protocols and fulfill its duties. Silvia Lucía Pérez
Accident Prevention

Veterans
